Boulevard: Robin Williams’ Final Performance
Hollywood’s favorite nanny/genie/english teacher/professor/psychologist/comedian/actor Robin Williams, who we lost last August to suicide, will be featured in his last major-motion picture film Boulevard, and this is the first official trailer.
The drama story follows Nolan (Williams), a man stuck in a life of convenience and monotony. He’s been working at the same bank for the last 26 years, and has been living in a world of distraction from reality with his wife Joy. Then one day his life is completely changed as he’s driving down the street and meets a troubled youth, Leo. This new acquaintance forces Nolan to accept that he’s been living a lie as he comes to terms with the person he truly is, breaking him free of his old life.
Directed by Dito Montiel and with stars like Kathy Baker, Bob Odenkirk, and Roberto Aguire, this film is sure to be nothing but inspiring, especially during a time in our society where being yourself is not always acceptable, but as the tagline of the movie states, “it’s never too late to make a u-turn.”
Boulevard will be released in theaters July 10, and being that this is the last time we will have the pleasure of seeing Mr. Williams on the big screen, you can be sure that I’ll be there.
