The Harlem Fine Arts Show Will Be In NYC From February 4-th-7th
Calling all New Yorker’s and lovers of the arts! Need to kick off Black History Month with a bang? Well then you are in luck, among the many amazing events that will be taking place in New York City to celebrate Black History Month the Harlem Fine Arts Show will be coming to New York City! And yes, you might want to grab bae, your bestie, the hommie from up the block, or go alone but don’t miss this show. The Harlem Fine Arts Show aims to create a platform for all artists from all genres to empower themselves through culture and creative ideas from all over the world. The Harlem Fine Arts Show is thee largest traveling art show in the United States, they bring artists and non artists together from all over the world to celebrate the African Diaspora. This Harlem Fine Arts Show will be held at the historic Riverside church (if you have never been to the church it is truly amazing).
Opening night is going to be something special, they will have Congressman Charles B. Rangel Portrait Unveiling, Salute to Arts Organizations, and there will also be an open bar (and who doesn’t love an open bar). Every day that the show is in New York City there will be events held to go along with the art exhibits. On Friday, February 5th it’s Youth Empowerment Day, on Saturday February 6th there is a lecture series and wine tasting, and Sunday (the last day of the show) there will be a gospel choir performance and group discussions. So if you have never done the “art thing” this will be a great way for you to experience great art and have meaningful discussions to make your art experience a great one.
